Indonesia Youth Power Hack 1#

Well, I would like to share my story, in March 2021, I was chosen with all 72 young people around Indonesia to join this spectacular Hackaton that being held by Restless Development and supported by Unilever and Project Everyone. It was discussing climate change and education topics in Indonesia, and I was involved in climate change topic, moreover, I was put in Team Six and we were brainstorming and finalize what we can do to help and solve climate change issues in Indonesia. Finally, we agreed that we are going to build a socio entrepreneur that focus on food waste by making valuable products such as juices, kombucha, and chips from unappealing, unaestetic, and surpluses fruits and vegetables. On that day we are pitching our ideas to the panellist and was being encouraged to keep on working on the ideas.

Fast forward to this month, July 2021, we were informed that we pass the regional stages and going forward to the global stages as the top 12, representing Indonesia along with other teams from 8 different countries. I am really excited about this event and to make the idea comes to life and make the world better.
